It’s official, I hate rappers.
Okay maybe not all rappers but definitely all those who tweet crap to their followers and have questionable lyrical content in their music. I know it’s a lot.
They have the power to educate and empower their fans and yet they spout a lot of trash that keeps our people down.
They use the excuse that fans want to hear them talking about niggas, bitches, hoes and thug life but surely, you can change this with good writing. Gangsters, drug dealers and pimps are a minority and I’m sure they do not make up the whole fan base of international rappers. The people who are really listening to this trash are young and impressionable. And every track that puts down a woman is a missed opportunity to educate.
What has sparked off this new rant?
On Twitter today Meek Mill posted an asinine message and I had to respond:

I wish I had tome to spend educating all these ignorant money grubbing, sell-out so-called artists. I don’t, so I vote with my money and my ears. One less rapper to listen to.
