Two happy families are thrown together by celebration and disaster. Parents… black parents, white parents… want to see their children thrive, grow up and live the good life. Tonight Dianne and Ivan discover how little they understand of son Callie’s journey into the adult world. Ann and Mick must also learn that their hard work and public service are not enough to protect their family.
